US Masters 2023 Golf Sweepstake Rules

In order to release Plucky’s US Masters 2023 Golf Sweepstake in time for the commencement of the Masters, we will be running the sweepstake with 80 of the golfers who have qualified as of the end of February 2023. To avoid any confusion, the list of golfers is included below.
To facilitate customers, there will be 3 types of sweepstakes, one containing 80 tickets with a single golfer on them, one containing 40 tickets with two golfers on them and one containing 20 tickets with four golfers on them.
The golfers contained on each ticket in the 40 and 20 ticket sweepstakes will be chosen at random by Plucky.
The players selected on each multiple entry ticket will be available prior to the draw.
The randomised process by which we assign a player to a ticket is described in our general Rules of the Game.
The single golfer sweepstakes have the choice of being ‘winner takes all’ or 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, however any sweepstakes with multiple golfer tickets will only have a 1st prize.
In all cases, each ticket regardless of the number of numbers it contains will be either scratched off at random by the customer or will be allocated at random by Plucky where the customer is unable to participate in the ‘draw’ itself.
The winners will be based on the golfers that come either 1st or 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed in the US Masters 2023.
In the case of private individual sweepstakes, 1st shall receive 55% of the ‘net’ pot (full pot less Plucky’s 9.75% fees), 2nd 30% and 3rd 15%.
In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or clubs, the latter shall receive 30.25% of the ‘gross’ pot, 1st 30%, 2nd 20% and 3rd 10%.
Should there be a ‘dead heat’ for any place, the prizes for those places will be added, divided in two and shared between the two relevant ticket holders.
In the case that one or more golfers do not start the competition or are disqualified or withdrawn during the tournament, then that customer will forfeit their stake in its entirety should it be a single ticket golfer, or lose the possibility of winning with that golfer in the case of multiple golfer tickets.
The sweepstake result is based on the result declared immediately following the last group finishing the final hole, whether in the main 72 holes or a play off. Any subsequent change in the placings (eg. disqualification) will not affect the sweepstake result.
Winner’s funds will be credited to customer’s accounts within 24 hours of the result being declared.
In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing the US Masters 2023 from taking place, all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.
