The Rules…

Tour de France Cycling 2023 - Rules for Teams Per Ticket Sweepstake

  1. Plucky’s 2023 Tour de France Team sweepstake will be a 22 team ‘winner takes all’ or 1st, 2nd and joint 3rd place sweepstake. 

  2. There are 22 tickets, each containing the name of one of the 22 teams which are taking part in the race. 

  3. Each ticket will be either scratched off at random by the customer when the ‘draw’ is open or will be allocated at random by Plucky where the customer is unable to participate in the ‘draw’ itself.

  4. The winners will be the tickets that contain either the winner of the Tour de France or the riders in 1st, 2nd or 3rd places.

  5. In the case of private individual sweepstakes -

1st Place Only Sweepstake - Winner takes all less plucky fees (100% - 9.75% = 90.25%)

1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Sweepstake - 1st shall receive 55% of the ‘net’ pot (full pot less Plucky’s 9.75% fees), 2nd 30% and 3rd 15%.

  1. In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or clubs - 

1st Place Only Sweepstake - Winner receives 50% of gross pot. Plucky takes 9.5%, HMRC takes 7.5% in Pool Betting Duty (6.04% paid by Club and 1.47% paid by Plucky) and the Club takes 34.21%.

1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Sweepstake - the winners shall receive 50% of the ‘gross’ pot broken down as 27.5%, 15% and 7.5% respectively. 

  1. In the case that one or more teams do not start the competition or are disqualified or withdrawn during the tournament, then that customer will forfeit their stake in its entirety.

  2. The sweepstake result is based on the result declared immediately following the final stage of the Tour de France.

  3. Winner’s funds will be credited to customer’s accounts within 24 hours of the result being declared.

  4. In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing the Tour de France 2023 from taking place, all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.

  5. All start and end times for the entire duration of the Tour de France are approximate and based on what the official Tour de France website states.

  6. These rules should be read in conjunction with Plucky’s general sweepstake Rules of the Game and Terms and Conditions.

For single player sweepstakes; £5, £10, £20, £50 or £100 per ticket

Tour de France Team 2023 - 22 Tickets (1 team each) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.

22 tickets - 1st only 

22 tickets - 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

The Field:
