ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 – Highest Wickets - Sweepstake Rules
1. Plucky’s ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 Most Wickets sweepstake will be a 10 ticket ‘winner takes all’ sweepstake.
2. The 10 tickets will normally consist of players number seven to eleven from both teams as shown below in ‘The Field’.
3. Those players will be confirmed as soon as practicable after both teams are announced.
4. We will endeavour to have the 10 players listed before the draw, however if for whatever reason, this proves impossible, then each player in the sweepstake will receive a number from 1 to 10. As soon as the starting eleven are announced, these numbers will be matched with Australia's numbers 11, 10, 9, 8 &7 followed by India’s 11 through 7 as shown below in ‘The Field’. These numbers are those reflected on the declared starting eleven and not necessarily the actual order that they may play.
5. If however, after confirmation of the final starting elevens, number seven or indeed any of the numbers 7 to 11 turns out to be for example a wicketkeeper or someone who will almost certainly not be bowling, Plucky reserves the right to replace that player with an all-rounder or another bowler to ensure fairness to the customer. Any changes will be reflected when the final players are entered and will normally be available to view on the client’s account prior to the start of play.
6. Each ticket will be either scratched off at random by the customer when the ‘draw’ is open,or will be allocated at random by Plucky where the customer is unable to participate in the ‘draw’ itself.
7. In the case of private individual sweepstakes - 1st Place Only Sweepstake - Winner takes all less plucky fees (100% - 9.75% = 90.25%
8. In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or clubs - 1st Place Only Sweepstake - Winner receives 50% of gross pot. Plucky takes 9.5%, HMRC takes 7.5% in Pool Betting Duty (6.04% paid by Club and 1.47% paid by Plucky) and the Club takes 34.21%.
9. In the case that one or more of those players do not start the test match, they will be replaced by the next player down on the starting eleven, or the next bowler if the next player down is not a bowler. (e.g. number 6).
10. If a player is disqualified or withdrawn during the test, then that customer will forfeit their stake in its entirety.
11. The sweepstake result is based on the result declared immediately following the end of the test match.
12. Winner’s funds will normally be credited to customer’s accounts within 24 hours of the result being declared.
13. In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing any ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 from taking place, all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.
14. All start and end times for the entire duration of the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 Sweepstakes are approximate and based on what the official ICC website states.
15. These rules should be read in conjunction with Plucky’s general sweepstake Rules of the Game and Terms and Conditions.
