Fantasy football paid leagues

Plucky is raising the bar for fantasy football excitement with the addition of fantasy football paid leagues. Players who want to put their money where their mouth can now do so, taking on friends and the public in paid leagues on a number of fantasy football websites.

What are fantasy football paid leagues?

Most fantasy football sites allow for league competition. This is where players take on their friends, co-workers, and family in private leagues, or the wider fantasy football community in public leagues. Players pick up points and try to climb the ladder to claim the top spot in the league.

While league managers can manually set up their own cash leagues, they must trust that people will pay up on time, look after the cash, and manage the payouts at the end. This traditional approach is behind the times, and can be replaced by a faster, easier, and a more fun app-based approach.

That’s where Plucky comes in. Plucky has built the technology to facilitate a progressive approach to fantasy football cash leagues and tournaments. We work with fantasy football websites to deliver the league set-up and payment tools required to manage real money leagues within their sites.

So, whether you want to take on your five-a-side team, your work colleagues, or join a public league for big league prizes, all you have to do is play at a fantasy football website that provides paid leagues.

Where can I use Plucky to set up fantasy football cash leagues?

At present, Plucky works with The Telegraph Fantasy Football to give its thousands of players access to paid leagues. Kicking off for Euro 2024, Plucky is now bringing paid leagues to players for the Premier Leaguer 2024-25 season.

More websites are due to go live with Plucky’s cash league service very soon, so make sure to follow us on X and Facebook to catch the latest news.

How do fantasy football paid leagues work?

Players first need to go to The Telegraph Fantasy Football or another site that uses Plucky’s paid leagues. From there, follow the instructions to first create your team and then head to the leagues section of the website.

Here you’ll have the choice to create the new league and its format. You will then be asked to invite your contacts as usual and will be prompted to convert your league to a paid league at a later step. For leagues already created, look out for the Paid League tab and follow the instructions to transform that league into a real money league.

League managers and members will then need to set up an account at Plucky – simply follow the redirects on the fantasy football website. Here, managers will have the option to choose entry prices and the final prize split between the first place or top three players. League players will be able to register to verify their identity and pay paid league entries.

For more details on individual fantasy football websites, make sure to follow the paid leagues information provided where specific details will be laid out.
