Eurovision 2023 - Single Country Per Ticket Sweepstake Rules
Plucky’s 2023 One Country per Ticket Eurovision Sweepstake will contain all 26 countries participating in the Final on May 13th 2023.
The country contained on each ticket will be chosen at random by the user during the open draw period. Plucky will randomly allocate any countries not chosen at the draw’s end to those who couldn’t participate in the draw.
The randomised process by which we assign a country to a ticket is described in our general Terms and Conditions.
This sweepstake will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.
The winners will be based on the countries that come 1st, 2nd and third in Eurovision 2023.
In the case of private individual sweepstakes, 1st wins 60% of the ‘net pot’ (90.25% of the gross pot, with 9.75% going to Plucky), 2nd wins 35% and 3rd wins 15% of the net pot respectively.
In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or sports clubs, the latter shall receive 30.25% of the ‘gross’ pot, Plucky shall receive 9.75% of the gross pot and the sweepstake 1st, 2nd and 3rd places shall receive 60%, 35% and 15% of the ‘net’ pot respectively.
Should there be a ‘dead heat’ for any prize, the relevant prizes will be added, divided the number of tied participants and shared equally between those winners.
In the case that one or more countries do not start the competition or are disqualified or withdrawn during the competition, the user will lose the possibility of winning with that ticket.
The sweepstake result is based on the result declared immediately following the end of the voting in the competition. Any subsequent change in the placings (eg. disqualification) will not affect the sweepstake result.
Winner’s funds will usually be credited to customer’s accounts within 24 hours of the result being declared.
In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing the Eurovision 2023 from taking place, all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.
All start and end times for the entire duration of the Eurovision 2023 are approximate and based on what the official Eurovision 2023 website states.
These rules should be read in conjunction with Plucky’s general sweepstake rules and terms and conditions.
