The Rules…

Cheltenham Day 1 - Turbo Top 3s - 10 tickets Sweepstake Rules

The field consists of 90 horses chosen from the 97 declared at the 48 hour stage.
There will be 10 tickets issued, each with 9 horses selected at random by Plucky.
Plucky have (at its sole discretion) removed 7 horses to bring the field to the divisible number.
In doing so, Plucky has removed those horses which are at the time observed to be the highest odds in the overall day’s racing.
Following this, Plucky will use its random process to allocate the names of horses to the tickets.
The randomised process by which we assign a player to a ticket is described in our general Terms and Conditions.
The Cheltenham Day 1 Turbo Top Threes Sweepstake will only have a 1st prize.
In all cases, each ticket will be either scratched off at random by the customer or will be allocated at random by Plucky where the customer is unable to participate in the ‘draw’ itself.
The winners will be based on a points system whereby the winner of the first 5 races gets 3 points, 2nd gets 2 points and 3rd gets 1 point.
The last two races’ points will be ‘turbocharged’ such that race 6 will be awarded 6, 4 and 2 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and the 7th and final race will get 9, 6 and 3 for their places.
The winner will be the ticket which has the highest number of points at the end of the day’s racing.
In the case of private individual sweepstakes, 1st will get 100% of the net pot (full pot less Plucky’s 9.75% fees).
In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or clubs, the latter shall receive 30.25% of the ‘gross’ pot, and the winner getting 60%.
Should there be a ‘dead heat’ for any place, the points for those places will be added, divided in two and shared between the two relevant ticket holders.
In the case that one or more horses do not start a race or are disqualified or withdrawn or fall, then that customer will only lose the possibility of winning points with that horse in its given race.
The sweepstake result is based on the result declared shortly following the end of the race. Any subsequent change in the placings (eg. disqualification) will not affect the sweepstake result.
Winner’s funds will be credited to customer’s accounts within 24 hours of the result being declared.
In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing Day 1 racing at Cheltenham from taking place, all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.
Should some races, however be cancelled but some take place, the results will be declared from those races which have taken place.
All start and end times for the entire duration of the Day 1 at Cheltenham are approximate and based on what the official Cheltenham website start times.
