The Rules…

Aintree Day 1 - Turbo Top 3s 2023 - Sweepstake Rules

Plucky’s Aintree Day 1 2023 Sweepstake will be based on the total field of horses running on Day 1. 

1. The field consists of 90 horses declared at the 2-day declaration stage. 

2. There will be 10 tickets issued, each with 9 horses selected at random by Plucky.

3. Plucky has used its random process to allocate the names of horses to the tickets.

4. The randomised process by which we assign a horse to a ticket is described in our general Rules of the Game.

5. The Aintree Day 1 Turbo Top Threes Sweepstake will only have a 1st prize.

6. In all cases, each ticket will be either scratched off at random by the customer or will be allocated at random by Plucky where the customer is unable to participate in the ‘draw’ itself.

7. The winners will be based on a points system whereby the winner of the first 5 races gets 3 points, 2nd gets 2 points and 3rd gets one point. 

8. The last two races’ points will be ‘turbocharged’ such that race 6 will be awarded 6, 4 and 2 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and the 7th and final race will get 9, 6 and 3 for their places.

9. The winner will be the ticket which has the highest number of points at the end of the day’s racing. 

10. In the case of private individual sweepstakes, 1st will get 100% of the net pot (full pot less Plucky’s 9.75% fees).

11. In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or clubs, the latter shall receive 30.25% of the ‘gross’ pot, and the winner getting 60%.

12. Should there be a ‘dead heat’ for any place, the points for those places will be added, divided in two and shared between the two relevant ticket holders.

13. In the case that one or more horses do not start a race or are disqualified or withdrawn or fall, then that customer will only lose the possibility of winning points with that horse in its given race.

14. The sweepstake result is based on the result declared shortly following the end of the race. Any subsequent change in the placings (eg. disqualification) will not affect the sweepstake result.

15. Winner’s funds will normally be credited to customer’s accounts within 24 hours of the result being declared.

16. In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing Day 1 racing at Aintree from taking place, all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.

17. Should some races, however be cancelled but some take place, the results will be declared from those races which have taken place.

18. All start and end times for the entire duration of the Day 1 at Aintree are approximate and based on what the official Aintree website start times.

19. These rules should be read in conjunction with Plucky’s general sweepstake rules and terms and conditions.

Results Available - Friday April 14, 2023 11 am approx.
